I am looking to fill a research post on an international project on Bayesian statistics „grammo – a grammar of models“. We want to let users build complex models out of larger components as if building a lego set. Then we find ways to automatically transform them into more efficient or otherwise better-behaved versions.
- Applied statistics. Help us build a tool for better modelling of real-world medical and psychological data. We know how to do statistical research that affects statistical practice.
- International connection. A project with the team of Paul Bürkner (TU Dortmund, author of the brms package), close engagement with the Stan probabilistic programming language community.
- Would you rather code or math? The project has a primarily technical, programming part as well as primarily mathematical part. The exact mixing of these ingredients can be tuned to match your preferences.
